1. Introduction
Welcome to Artist Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including art documentation, photography, portfolio creation, and digital flip-books. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
Artist Studio provides professional services including:
- Artwork photography and documentation
- Portfolio creation (digital and print-ready)
- Interactive flip-book design
- Image optimization for web, print, and exhibitions
All services are delivered based on project scope agreed upon before commencement.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Ensure you have rights/permissions for all artwork submitted
- Review and approve deliverables within the agreed timeline
- Make timely payments as per agreed terms
4. Pricing & Payments
- All pricing will be communicated prior to project initiation
- A deposit may be required to begin work
- Final deliverables will be shared upon full payment
- Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, unless otherwise agreed
5. Revisions & Approval
- A limited number of revisions may be included in the project scope
- Additional revisions may incur extra charges
- Final approval from the client confirms completion of the project
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- The client retains full ownership of their artwork
- Artist Studio retains rights to the photographs and documentation created, unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Artist Studio may use project outputs for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing
7. Usage License
Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final deliverables for:
- Personal and professional portfolios
- Websites and social media
- Exhibitions, catalogs, and publications
Resale or redistribution of raw files or unapproved formats is not permitted without prior consent.
8. Turnaround Time
- Project timelines will be communicated in advance
- Delays caused by incomplete information or late approvals from the client may affect delivery timelines
- We are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Projects can be canceled before work begins for a full refund
- Once work has started, cancellation may result in partial or no refund depending on the progress
- Any completed work up to the cancellation point will be chargeable
10. Limitation of Liability
Artist Studio shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
- Errors resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client
11. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party tools or platforms (e.g., cloud storage, design software). We are not responsible for their policies or performance.
12. Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of your artwork and personal information. Any sensitive materials shared with us will not be disclosed without your consent, except where required by law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chandigarh.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
